Running for Judge
The You Should Run team is proud to have created campaign media for the committees to elect more than a dozen local judges in Florida. We design elegant, immediately useful campaign resources that raise funds and earn votes.
Candidates for judge in Florida must have practiced under the Florida Bar for a minimum of five years, and may not campaign with any political party. Judicial elections are overseen by county supervisors, the Florida Department of State Division of Elections, and the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission. Inclusion of past work does not imply endorsement of any kind.

We are honored to have worked with the Committee to Elect Alison Kerestes for Circuit Judge on her election in 2022.
You Should Run’s Dave Plotkin is honored to have worked with the Committee to Elect Karen Gievers for Leon County Circuit Judge on her election in 2010. Judge Gievers served with distinction until retiring in 2019.
We are honored to have worked with the Committee to Reelect Donald A. Myers, Jr. for Circuit Judge in 2016. Judge Myers was elected Chief Judge of the Ninth Judicial Circuit from 2019 to 2021.
We are honored to have worked with the Committee to Elect Gisela T. Laurent for Orange County Judge on her election in 2016. In February 2021, Judge Laurent was appointed to the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
We are honored to have worked with the Committee to Elect Luis F. Calderon for Circuit Judge on his election in 2016.
